Just after the Sachsenring round, a day of tests was positively done in Lausitzring. Now Bonaldi Motorsport is going to face the third seasonal round of the difficult German championship with renewed trust.
Lausitzring racetrack is notorious due to the accident where Michele Alboreto died as well as the one to Alessandro Zanardi with his dramatic consequences. This circuit is unique in the continental Europe because it has got a high speed racetrack similar to the speedway in American motoring. That is why it can be defined as `trioval′. Moreover, inside and outside the trioval racetrack there are several track segments that, matched together, create many variations to the track layout. ADAC GT Masters is racing on the shortest track called Grand Prix 3.4 km. This track omits the straight after Curve 1 to make the drivers race more laps for audience’s enjoyment. And an incredible audience is waited! In fact, for the first time since 2008, ADAC GT Masters and DTM are scheduled at the same weekend which is rightly defined as `Motorsport Festival′.
The day after the Sachsenring weekend, Bonaldi Motorsport did a session of tests in Lausitzring. The team completed a work plan required by their technicians with success and without any problems. So, it is obvious that the team is going to face this third ADAC GT Masters round with renewed trust.
The two Qualifying Sessions are scheduled on Friday. That is why we have to be active immediately but I am confident. In fact, for the first time from the season start, we could do tests on the racetrack where we are racing at the weekend. This will surely be our best race from the beginning of the year. My trust is really strong: I believe in my team and I hope to show our worth at Lausitzring!
The weekend schedule is starting with Free Practice on Friday, 3rd June at 8.45 a.m. and at 10.50 a.m. The two rounds of Qualifying Practice are at 3.10 p.m.; Race 1 is on 4th June at 1.08 p.m. while Race 2 is scheduled on Sunday 5th June at 1.08 p.m.
It is possible to watch the two races live thanks to streaming on ADAC GT Masters official website as well as on Bonaldi Motorsport official website.
