The first round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo has been archived and for Bonaldi Motorsport the race in Monza meant two absolute fifth positions and two good places in PRO-AM category…
Bergamo (ITA). In music the term crescendo means a gradual increase in sound loudness. In Monza in the first round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo only Bonaldi Motorsport team had a increasing performance step by step. Thanks to the professionalism and understanding of all members of the team, under the technical direction of Marco Bielli, the two crews’ performances grew significantly on the circuit in Monza. The result of this crescendo was an almost absolute podium in Race 2, after an impressive and enchanting performance by the Venezuelan Johnny Cecotto Jr and the Serbian Milos Pavlovic on their Huracan. At the end they gained two absolute fifth places which made them keep leading positions in the championship standings.
Also Eugenio Amos and Mirko Zanardini, who raced on the second Huracan of the team from Bergamo in PRO-AM category, found the right feeling with their car in a very short time. Thanks to their constant and brilliant performance, both drivers closed in what shown during the weekend and reached an important fifth position in Sunday race.
Next round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo is on stage in Silverstone from 12th to 14th May.
This was a reasonably positive weekend. We determined our crews at the last minute, so our drivers didn’t have the time to train adequately for their seasonal start in Monza as the other drivers did. Unavoidably, our training and experience were performed during Free and Qualifying Practices. During the weekend we improved and we almost reached the podium in Race 2. The team showed to be ready and the drivers raced remarkably.
