Kujala and Amstutz did nothing wrong, Kodric only regretted not to take profit of his direct rivals’ negative weekend.
Last weekend was definitively positive. In fact, on the difficult racetrack of SPA Francorchamps, Bonaldi Motorsport cars reached major results: all Lamborghini Huracàn cars by this team placed on the very first positions. The crew composed by Kujala and Amstutz performed well during all weekend: Pole Position and victory in Race 1, third position on the starting grid and an amazing recovery with victory in Race 2. During the race on Friday (the weekend in Spa was earlier of a day) both Ineichen and Kodric performed well, placing fifth and sixth, respectively. On Saturday the Croatian driver placed his Lamborghini on the fifth position. The only little regret of this Belgian weekend was for Kodric who did not take profit of the scarce performance of his direct rivals in the standings. Looking at the standings, Kujala/Amstutz reinforced their leadership in PRO/AM category with one hundred points, which means eleven points more than their direct rivals. In PRO standings, Kodric boasts sixty-nine points and keeps his third position with ten points from Postiglione’s second place and nineteen from Lind’s first position. Rolf Ineichen is now tenth with nineteen points: he underwent the consequences of his engagement with the 24 Hours of Spa, which prevented him to take part to Race 2.
Our weekend in SPA was extremely positive thanks to Kujala and Amstutz’s terrific performance but I have to underline that I am really satisfied also for the fact that we had three cars in the first six positions in Race 1, while in Race 2 there were two cars of ours in the first five positions. We also had two victories. I only regret that Kodric did not take profit of his standings rivals’ bad performances. However, in general the team did a magnificent job and the results show it.
