Spa-Francorchamps (BEL). The magic moment of Bonaldi Motorsport continues in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo: after the two victories in the previous round of Zandvoort, the one-two is also repeated on the legendary Spa circuit thanks to the victory of Jack Bartholomew and Stuart Middleton in Race 1 and thanks to the victory of Sergey Afanasiev and Danny Kroes in Race 2. Starting from the second row, Kroes and Bartholomew make a good start in Race 1 with the Dutch, in particular, who gets close to the leader. The race takes its definitive form after the mandatory pit stop for the driver change when Middleton, taken over by Bartholomew, moves to the first position gaining a margin of advantage enough to leading until the finish line. In second place concludes Afanasiev who gives, thus, the second seasonal “one-two” at Bonaldi Motorsport. In the second race of the weekend it is Afanasiev to have a good start and to move into third position behind team-mate Middleton: positions are consolidates until the pit stops. With two spectacular overtakings is Kroes, who taken over by Afanasiev, to play the show on the track and take the lead: the Dutch driver extends his margin and finish the race alone in first position. The result is the third win of the season and the first place in the championship standings. Thanks to Bartholomew’s fourth place, the English pair also gained in the championship passing from fourth to third position.
