During the fifth seasonal round of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, which was held on Nurburgring racetrack in Germany, Bonaldi Motorsport showed a great team work and triumphed last Sunday after a difficult start.
For Bonaldi Motorsport the beginning of last weekend in Nurburgring appeared as a real “Green Hell”, exactly as this German track is nicknamed. The team had to face both a car, which needed to be repaired in a short time last Saturday morning, and unsatisfactory Race 1 results. Thanks to the whole team stubbornness and care, the “hell” was transformed into “heaven” the following day. The Croatian driver Martin Kodric had his first seasonal absolute success while the couple Adrian Amstutz and Patrick Kujala won for their seventh time in the PRO-AM category this year. In the PRO category, the standings leader, Lind, has an advantage of only 12 points over Kodric who is still challenging for the absolute victory. Amstutz and Kujala are still the standings leaders of the PRO-AM category with an advantage of 8 points over the second driver. Bonaldi Motorsport is leaving the Nürburgring track as the leader of the team standings with an advantage of 10 points over the following teams.
Last weekend was demanding at the beginning but ended in a fabulous way. The credit belongs to the team who showed proficiency and compactness, from the mechanics, who repaired Amstutz-Kujala’s car in a short time, to the engineers and drivers, who finalised what well done at the pits. The greatest success is the leading position in the team standings.
Next round of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo is scheduled on December, 1st and 2nd in Valencia, Spain. On this racetrack the fourth edition of World Finals is scheduled on the following days as well. The best drivers of the European, Asian and North American series will challenge.
