The team from Bergamo is coming back to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo for the World Final in Imola. And the crew is high-level with Patrick Kujala and Richard Antinucci…
Bergamo (ITA). The top event of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo acquires another protagonist: in fact, for the World Final in Imola, Bonaldi Motorsport is returning to the series which the team has taken part in and won since their beginning year. And this is a return with a high-level crew… In fact, the Finnish driver, Patrick Kujala, and the Italian-American Richard Antinucci are sharing the Huracàn no. 3 car. The first driver is deeply loved by the team. They placed first in Sebring in 2015 winning the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Championship. They previously won also the European Championship after an amazing season. Together with Adrian Amstutz and racing for Bonaldi Motorsport again, he gained the European PRO-AM Championship of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo in 2016. Patrick has been successfully racing in the competitive Blancpain GT Series Championship this year. Antinucci was born in Rome thirty-six years ago and he is Eddie Cheever’s nephew, the ancient Formula 1 driver and winner of the Indianapolis 500. After taking his first steps in the main Formula 3 championships and racing in IndyCar Series, he has been cooperating with Lamborghini since 2013 as official driver and driving instructor. Richard has been successful three times in the North America Lamborghini Super Trofeo this year.
Antinucci and Kujala are racing in the PRO category and they are aiming at a good performance, above all in the World Final, looking for a new and important success for Bonaldi Motorsport…
We’ve got a crew with the right stuff to perform well. Obviously, we will give priority to the World Championship as we have no wish about the standings in the European one. The European Championship will be surely useful to us as further training, even if we will hold on to a possible good position till the finish line….
