Bergamo (ITA). The Lamborghini Super Trofeo is preparing to perform this weekend its second round of the season on the German Nurburgring circuit with a novelty at Bonaldi Motorsport: the young Kikko Galbiati will join English Dean Stoneman in the car number 33.
Born in 1998 and son of art, Kikko made his debut in the Italian F4 Championship in 2015, but the following year he decided to switch to GT cars to compete in the Italian GT Championship and in the International GT Open, in some races with his father Omar. At the end of 2016 he made his debut in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo and quickly became one of the major protagonists: in 2017 he was ProAM vice-champion with 3 wins and 3 pole positions and last year he contended for the PRO title to our Afanasiev-Kroes until the last, taking 4 absolute victories.
After winning the second race scheduled at Misano Adriatico, Bonaldi Motorsport decides to support Dean Stoneman with a young but already experienced and victorious driver in the category with the clear goal of continuing a winning tradition in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo championship.
.We welcome and wish for good success Kikko Galbiati who will be with us at the Nurburgring together with Dean Stoneman. The goal is to realize the potential already showed at Misano Adriatico and, therefore, we can say without doubt that we aim to win in Germany too.
The schedule of the weekend is starting with Free Practice on Friday, 4th September at 8.45 a.m. and at 12.05 a.m., on the same day Qualifying Practice is starting at 3.45 p.m. On Saturday, 5th September Race 1 is scheduled at 12.30 a.m. and Race 2 at 6.05 p.m. Races will on live streaming available on the Lamborghini Super Trofeo official website (squadracorse.lamborghini.com/super-trofeo/europe); relive and highlights on the Lamborghini Youtube official channel (www.youtube.com/user/Lamborghini).
