BBergamo (ITA). Dean Stoneman is definitely the Bonaldi Motorsport driver in this anomalous Lamborghini Super Trofeo season inevitably conditioned by the pandemic. The English driver, who drove alone and surprisingly the only Lamborghini Huracan by Bonaldi Motorsport in the initial round of Misano Adriatico, now leads the championship standings after being joined by two different team mates: the Italian Kikko Galbiati in the second round disputed at the Nurburgring and the Finnish Patrick Kujala in the last round in Barcelona. Both Galbiati and Kujala gave their precious contribution by demonstrating great professionalism, Stoneman’s strength was to know how to integrate quickly and effectively to the championship, to the car and to teammates: sorry if it’s not enough…
It will not be an easy task to defend the leadership in the championship, but let’s not forget that the English driver managed to win alone the second race of the weekend in the initial round of Misano Adriatico. A further unknown factor will almost certainly be represented by the weather, already particularly unpredictable in July on the usual date of the Belgian round of support to the famous 24 Hours.
.The goal at Spa will be to defend the lead in the standings, it will not be easy: Dean Stoneman will race alone as in the first round of the season in Misano Adriatico where he has shown that he knows how to get by very well.
The schedule of the weekend is starting with Free Practice on Thursday, 22th October at 10.00 a.m. and at 2.00 p.m..
