Lamborghini Super Trofeo, immediately winners!

In the debut race of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo season, the all-British crew Bartholomew-Middleton gives to Bonaldi Motorsport the first victory of the season…

Silverstone (GBR). The air of home was definitely good for Jack Bartholomew and Stuart Middleton, the young English drivers of Bonaldi Motorsport who won the first race of the 2019 edition of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, which opened on the English Silverstone circuit. To complete the excellent debut of the team from Bergamo, the third place of the other crew, composed by the Russian Sergey Afanasiev and the Dutch Danny Kroes, also arrived. After a difficult start for both crews, the entry of the safety car gave way to the second part of the race which was decidedly more remarkable and ended, thanks also to the contact that involved the two race leaders, with the victory. The second race scheduled for the weekend gave Bonaldi Motorsport two excellent positions: in fact, Bartholomew-Middleton gained the third step of the podium ahead of his teammates Afanasiev-Kroes after a willful and constant race.

Winning the first race of the championship was amazing, the best possible start! Thanks to the team that did an excellent job.

It was a real debut with Bonaldi Motorsport which I believe it has found the right combination between the drivers. The feeling with the guys in the team was immediately exceptional, I already feel like I am in a family. The results obtained in the two races represent an excellent start to the championship, knowing that we have good margins for improvement.

Considering that for the four drivers it was the absolute debut with the team, the weekend is undoubtedly to be considered very positive: in the Saturday race luck helped a bit, on Sunday we got the maximum possible. Since the next round I am convinced that we will be able to further improve to be even more competitive
