Bergamo (ITA). Now in its tenth edition, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe will starts its inaugural race as tradition at the Monza racetrack: Bonaldi Motorsport responds with two unpublished crews, but with the usual dose of enthusiasm. There will be the debut of the new Huracán Super Trofeo EVO that promises to raise the already high standards of the previous model with a completely redesigned aerodynamics, new devices to improve safety and numerous improvements in terms of mechanics and electronics. The very young British James Pull and the Dutch Kelvin Snoeks will alternate at the wheel of the Huracán number 3, all Nordic crew for the Huracán number 32 with the Swedish Fredrik Blomstedt and the returning Finnish Patrick Kujala. Born in Singapore on October 5 1999, the 18-year-old James Pull took his first steps in karting in Asia and Europe where he competed at the highest levels; in 2015 he debuts in the English FIA F4 championship, while last year it closes as the vice-champion and best rookie the prestigious English F3 championship giving full demonstration of his talent. Kelvin Snoeks was born in Haarlem on 12 September 1987 and obtained his first successes in the karting years between 2002 and 2006; in 2007 he made his debut in the formula racing to compete in the prestigious F2 in the seasons 2010 and 2011, while the following year he moved to the covered wheels where he distinguished himself starting from 2015 in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo.
Fredrik Blomstedt was born in Stockholm on 3 June 1991 and in his short career he has already managed to capture absolute value results wherever he raced: in 2015 he won the Euro Series championship, in 2016 he was vice-champion Renault Sport Trophy and last year closed in third place the Scandinavian Tourism Championship. No words needed more for Patrick Kujala: born in 1996, he is a very popular driver at Bonaldi Motorsport, with whom he reached the highest podium in 2015, winning the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Championship, after having previously won the European championship; in 2016 it gained with Adrian Amstutz and again with Bonaldi Motorsport the European PRO-AM title of Lamborghini Super Trofeo; the last year he closed the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup PRO-AM ranking in second place.
The schedule of the weekend is starting with Free Practice on Friday, 20st April at 11.40 a.m. and at 4.10 p.m.. On Saturday, 21nd April Qualifying Practice is starting at 10.35 a.m. and Race 1 is at 3.10 p.m.; On Sunday, 22rd April Race 2 is scheduled at 12.20 a.m.
