The Bonaldi Group is growing and investing in research and developments
The Bonaldi Group grows as it inaugurates its New Motorsport Department dedicated to the Group racing team, which was founded in 1992 by the passionate engineer Giampietro Bonaldi, founder of the Team.
The space of about 1,000 square metres has been set up on the level above the Lamborghini Showroom in Azzano S.Paolo. In addition to a renovated space for administrative and team management offices, the new technical department focuses on four distinct areas: cars, assembly, mechanics and manufacturing.
The Bonaldi Group continues to grow and invest in research and development. We focus on an area of excellence like Motorsport, supporting the growth of our racing team that has already led us to great results, even in sporting terms, that we intend to reinforce in the future. The inauguration of the new Motorsport Workshop is the recognition to the extremely high quality of professionalism shown by our mechanics who offer their skills to the needs of our clients every day. Our company is able to satisfy the most different and complex mobility needs from families, to businesses, to racing enthusiasts thanks to the potential of all eight brands of the Volkswagen Group.
The new technical department completes and improves the quality of services offered by the Bonaldi Group and by Lamborghini Bergamo, core brands of Bonaldi Motorsport. And the figures confirm it. In 2015, Lamborghini Bergamo, the only dealer for Northern Italy, delivered 30 cars to the Italian market (+50% compared to 21 in 2014) and has acquired 45 contracts for cars to be delivered in 2016. An increase equal to 100% reinforcing a turnover of seven million Euros, to which the 1 million Euros from Motorsport will be added, predicting a big increase already this year.
Bonaldi Groups racing team, is one of a kind due to it being created and managed completely within the activities of dealership, has come a long way. When the Bonaldi Motorsport Team was created, at the start of 1990, it was a hobby for few enthusiasts. We started to prepare and manage a maximum of two cars on one track, and today our team counts up to eight of cars, all engaged in international and global championships. In the past two years we have been European and World champions of the Super Trofeo Lamborghini Blancpain.
